The Super Coupe Performance Pinion Brace fits all 1989-97 Thunderbirds and Cougars, as well as the 1993-98 Lincoln Mark VIIIs. The pinion brace mounts to the front lower control arm bolts and the differential bolts thus tying all 4 points together to provide better pinion angle control and a stiffer subframe. No subframe modifications are need as the pinion brace is truly an easy bolt on!
This pinion brace will allow better control of the pinion angle during acceleration and deceleration and reduce wheel hop caused by driveline shock. The brace is made from 1/8" steel that is fully tig welded together. In the image shown from below the car, this brace is shown near the bottom of the picture. You can also see our Rear Torsional Load Brace near the top.
We highly recommend our poly Differential Bushings with this item as the attachment points for these bushings are part of this install and putting them in with the brace will be quite easy.
