The best choice for cars that are stock to mildly modified.

The stock pump size on the car ranged from 110 to 128 lph (depending upon year) and even a stock engine can use more fuel. If your car has more than 100,000 miles, your pump is likely on it's last legs. Replace it before it leaves you stranded. Be proactive, not dumb-active.

NOTE: DO NOT buy a generic Mustang pump kit for your car as the sock filter on the Mustang is significantly larger and may cause float issues and incorrect gas gauge readings.

This pump kit is for the '89-97 Tbirds/Cougars and the '93-96 Marks. Choose our unique '97/98 255 LPH pump kit if you have a Gen II car.

It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED you also purchase our Motorcraft Fuel Filter as this is a often neglected maintenance item and makes perfect sense to replace so you can get maximum performance out of your new high volume fuel pump. See the "Related Items" section on this page.

NOTE, the O-ring at the top of the sending unit is included for the Tbird/Cougars but is not included for the Mark VIII as it is different and unfortunately obsolete now.
