A pair of high flow down tubes. Includes Oxygen Sensor fitting for the passenger side. The drivers side O2 fitting is in the cast iron exhaust manifold. Made from the heaviest gage aluminized tubing that is commercially available. Installation instructions included.
We have the patterns to fit the '89-93 exhaust manifolds or those for the '94/95 manifolds. The pattern differs slightly only on the passenger side. Our downtubes fit both the 3.8L SC engine as well as the 5.0L V8 from '91-93.
Our 2 1/4" down tubes without catalytic converters go from the factory manifolds to the transmission cross member. They will have a flared end and flange like the factory exhaust to hook up to the stock cast iron manifolds. The stock exhaust can be cut at the appropriate point and these can be mated to it or you can continue with the SCP cat-back exhaust system or some other exhaust.
Note that these down tubes do NOT go all the way to the resonator.
These 2 1/4" pipes will fit both the 3.8L SC and the '91-93 5.0L Tbird/Cougar engines. These will fit the aftermarket headers or the stock manifolds for the 5.0L application.
SCP does offer replacement exhaust manifold studs so if yours are very rusty we can provide replacements. Also, replacing your O2 sensors after 75K miles is highly recommended. These are both shown in the "Related Products" when you scroll downwards.
