The stock cast iron manifolds on these cars are incredibly small and have a 1.7" collector diameter. To eliminate this cork in your car go with our custom designed headers and a free flowing exhaust system. Expect at least a 20 HP improvement and also a peace of mind as opening up the exhaust system on this car is the most significant way to reduce head gasket failures.
These headers are a direct bolt on but as they are substantially longer than the stock cast iron exhaust manifolds you will need to rework the front part of the exhaust downtubes (front part of your exhaust). SCP does offer high flow down tubes with or without high flow catalytic converters with a 2.5" diameter to mate with the header collector.
Also due to the extra length of the SCP/Kooks headers, new oxygen sensors with a longer leads will be required for proper sensor hook up. SCP can supply these for you if desired. Remember that oxygen sensors gradually degrade over time and should be replaced at 60,000 mile intervals to maintain peak performance.

Cars with Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) should also purchase the optional EGR fitting shown nearby. This fitting will be welded in place on the header. Always let us know what year car you have so we get the correct EGR fitting for you.
