Includes: Axle bearings, axle seal, carrier bearing/race, pinion bearing/race, pinion seal, all gaskets, pinion nut, crush sleeve, shim set, new ring gear bolts, and set up compound.


This kit will provide any qualified mechanic will all the necessary items to set up your new gears, rebuild the Traction-Lok unit and replace all the wear items in your rear gear housing. If your car has over 100,000, be proactive, not dumb-active and rebuild your rear housing!


This kit is for those cars without an internal Ford Traction-Lok unit in their differential. This includes the '94/95 automatic supercharger V6 cars, the Mark VIIIs, and many of the 5.0L and 4.6L V8 Thunderbirds/Cougars. Give us a call if you are not certain if you have Traction-Lok or not.

This 21 tooth speedometer gear will recalibrate your cars speedometer when using a 3.27:1 ring/pinion set in the '89-98 manual transmission cars or a 3.73:1 set in the automatic cars.


4.10:1 ratio 8.8" Rear Ring and Pinion Set

The 4.10 ratio should be considered an aggressive street/strip gear for the automatic transmission cars. If you do a lot of drag racing or are looking for terrific throttle response on the highway with your car you should consider this ratio.
